Hey! I’m Carmelina. Thanks for being here. For me, it all started when I was just a little girl. Every morning, I would wake up for school, jump on my mom’s bed, and watch her style my hair ever so closely through the mirror. I admired everything about it & knew that one day that’s what I wanted to do. Every chance I got, I would style my mom’s hair and she of course told me she loved it, each and every time.
As I got older, I developed other interests, but my passion for hair never faded, so when it came time, it became my career. I have now been doing hair professionally for 21 years and continue to love it more each day.

After many years of working and gaining professional experience at some great Ottawa salons, I decided it was time to grow and start a business of my own, and so Hair by Carm was born.
Having my own mobile business has allowed me to focus on my passion of hair for weddings, photoshoots and special events. I am also able to continue to provide a full set of hair services from my home studio.
